If you need a thread sealant for sensitive metals, try LOCTITE® 5772. Designed for the locking and sealing of metal threaded pipes and fittings, it has a low halogen and sulfur content, and is specially developed for use on sensitive metals, e.g. titanium, used in the nuclear industry. It’s also perfect for use on stainless steel without the need for surface activation. Its thixotropic nature means you can rely on reduced product migration after application.
