LOCTITE^® HB S109 ECO PURBOND

LOCTITE^® HB S109 ECO PURBOND is a moisture-curing, 1-part polyurethane (PUR) mass timber structural adhesive used for load-bearing engineered wood applications. When applied, it cures with air humidity and moisture in the wood to form a strong, non-brittle film. It is resistant to weak alkalis, acids and solvents, free from fibres and abrasive fillers, and exhibits good flow properties. The LOCTITE HB S ECO PURBOND version is an extension of the classic globally acknowledged product range and is manufactured with 63% bio-circular materials (by weight of organic materials certified via mass balance approach according to globally recognised certification scheme), achieving a reduction in CO2 emissions of about two thirds compared to conventional fossil-based formulations (figures based on a Henkel internal cradle-to-gate lifecycle assessment).
