AQUENCE® XP 2020 FW is a water-based polymer adhesive for glass bottle labeling. It is designed for fully automated labeling machines and offers good machinability, high initial tack, and high ice-water resistance after complete drying. A white to yellowish liquid, AQUENCE XP 2020 FW is suitable for both dry and wet bottle labeling, and the dried glue film is soluble in caustic soda solution in traditional bottle washing machines, making it suitable for labeling of refillable bottles, which use paper labels permeable to caustic soda. It can also be used for aluminum foil application.

How to use
The recommended application method is by automatic labelling machines. The recommended running temperature is between 25 and 30 °C. The coat-weight should be maintained at 15 to 30 g/m².
AQUENCE XP 2020 FW is ready to use and shall not be diluted.
Due to the variety of substrates available, the adhesion of materials can vary significantly. Therefore, pre-tests should always be carried out prior to full-scale application.
Clean up the adhesive with hot water. If the adhesive has dried, manual scrapping will be necessary.

AQUENCE XP 2020 FW has a shelf life of 9 months in unopened original packaging. Henkel does not advocate using AQUENCE XP 2020 FW beyond the recommended shelf life and is unable to recertify material that has expired.
AQUENCE XP 2020 FW should be stored with stock rotated so the oldest material is used first, protected from freezing, not mixed with other adhesives, and maintained at an optimum storage temperature of 15 to 30 °C.
